The objective of IDAN is to provide Nigeria with a valuable standard system of addressing. The company has been working in collaboration with major stakeholders:

- 3. And the Federal Ministry of Communication.
This collaboration is to ensure that all activities relating to the Nigeria Addressing file programme is carried out and completed on schedule.
The content of the Business Operation is designed to capture the following:
Strategy Components
- 1. Liaising with Governors of the states
- 2. Liaising with the local government Chairmen
- 3. Liaising with Technology experts
- 4. Liaising with office of surveyor General
- 5. Liaising with Security agents
- 6. Liaising with other stakeholders
Operations
- 1. Mapping out the Pathway for Programme implementation
- 2. Mapping out Key Performance Indicators
- 3. Co-ordinating the activities of various works streams
- 4. Monitoring the output of various stages of work activities
- 5. Evaluating the work streams and measuring them against expectations
- 6. Quality check of the working activities
- 7. Quality control of all pathways
Administration
- Putting administrative roles to support the Strategy and operations and rolling out
Management reports to support decision-making and progress activities direction.
Products and Services
- IDAN has been mandated by the federal Government of Nigeria to work on the digital and Physical Addressing of Nigeria and these include:
- Street Naming
- House Numbering.
- Postcode allocation in collaboration with NIPOST.
