Management
- Stakeholder Management: The major stakeholders are Federal and State government as well as other institutions who are partners in progress to achieve National Addressing Programme.
- National andInternationalFunds/Grants Management: IDAN has instituted a committee to work on various funding committees based within and outside Nigeria.
- Customer Management: The National Addressing of Nigeria is centred on the three tiers of government. (Federal, State, Local Government)
- Others: In each State of the federation, we have a team of employees that engage and manage our clients on all areas of work.
– The main Objective of IDAN is to provide a valuable standard addressing system within Nigeria, and this goal is on its way to becoming obtainable.
The company has been working with major stakeholders, namely; NIPOST, OSGOF and the Federal Ministry of Communications to ensure that all activities relating to this project are carried out and completed on schedule.
2. The content of the Business Operations process is designed to capture the following:
(i) Strategic Component
- Liaising with Governors of the states
- Liaising with the local government Chairmen
- Liaising with Technology experts
- Liaising with office of surveyor General
- Liaising with Security agents
- Liaising with other stakeholders
(ii) Operation Component
- Mapping out the Pathway for Programme implementation
- Mapping out Key Performance Indicators
- Co-ordinating the activities of various works streams
- Monitoring the output of various stages of work activities
- Evaluating the work streams and measuring them against expectations
- Quality check of the working activities
- Quality control of all pathways
(iii) Administrative Component
- Putting administrative roles to support the Strategy and operations and rolling
out Management reports to support decision-making and progress activities direction.
The strategy includes engagement of IDAN with NIPOST, OSGOF, Google Oracle. Documented
with operations is the content of implementation by the major stakeholders which
are:
- Local Governments
- State Governments
- National Government
Going forward, IDAN’s focus shall be in the area of securing the endorsement of
most of the States and Local Governments to ensure not only a seamless implementation
but also that there is uniformity in the process. Ultimately, efforts should be
made to procure all the necessary equipment required to add value to the project.
In the long run, the Nigeria Digitised Street Address project has the potential
of providing employment for more than 3,000 skilled and non-skilled young Nigerians.
